Half my size in 8 months!

I started with the lowest dose and now I'm on the highest dose, but only taking it every other week to maintain! Still aiming for 130. I'm 5'7". It's wild looking back at old photos. I didn't realize I was overweight because I thought I looked the same as before. Funny how that works! Still adjusting to buying smaller sizes. I keep grabbing clothes that are too big. I'm now a size 6, sometimes a 4 in jeans!

Only thing I've noticed is more hair shedding. Luckily, I have a ton of hair, so it's not super noticeable. Once I hit 130, I'm focusing on building muscle, especially my booty since that was the first to go! This medication is amazing! I also changed my diet and exercise habits, which I think helped with the rapid weight loss!

You look great, well done. This stuff still needs discipline. You're doing amazing, keep it up!

8 months is SO quick! I wish that could be me. Amazing work! Did you work out too? Any specific diet? I'm doing okay, but don't think I'll be in the 130s in under a year.

You look fantastic. You were beautiful before, but you seem so much happier now. Keep it up and keep shining.

You look amazing! Congrats!

I get what you mean about still feeling big. I still think I'm the same size I was five years ago, but my clothes don't fit. So frustrating. And I avoid photos now. Starting my injections next week, so hopefully I can fit in my cute clothes again.

I started on the lowest dose last week and had terrible vomiting and nausea for two days. Just water. Anyone else had this? It's curbed my appetite though. My doc prescribed it for uncontrolled diabetes with a really high A1C despite insulin and messed up lipid panels.

To those asking about my workout routine, I try to get in at least 30 minutes of cardio most days, and I lift weights 2-3 times a week. I'm not super strict with my diet, but I try to focus on protein and vegetables and limit processed foods and sugary drinks. It's all about creating sustainable habits!

JerseyGirl_Health, that sounds rough! Nausea is a common side effect, but if it's that severe, you should definitely check in with your doctor. They might adjust your dose or prescribe something to help with the nausea.

I saw someone else mention 'bat wings' after weight loss. Does anyone have tips for dealing with loose skin after losing a lot of weight quickly? I'm starting to worry about that myself.

Me too! I've heard that building muscle can help fill it out, but I'm not sure what else to do. Maybe surgery is the only option for really bad cases?

Wow, that's amazing progress! It's inspiring to see how much people can change. I saw one person lost nearly 80 pounds! I hope I can stick with it like you all have.
