Try this in your own head before scrolling. Thymosin beta-4, the one marketed for tendon and injury repair. Thymosin alpha-1, the immune modulator registered as an actual medicine in parts of the world. Two completely different molecules, from the same family name, with completely different jobs. Do you know which one your vial claims to contain, and more importantly, do you know what the abbreviation on the label actually refers to.

The confusion is not pedantic. Vendors mix them up, reviews mix them up, and the injury threads are full of people describing outcomes from one molecule while crediting the other. On top of that, thymosin beta-4 is a naturally occurring protein involved in cell migration and wound healing, which is where the injury reputation comes from, but the human evidence for injecting it into sore elbows is far thinner than the confidence in the threads suggests.

Go check your label, or your order history, or the listing you bought from. What exactly does it say. And would you have noticed if the letters meant the other compound entirely.
