Halfway to goal!

I've managed to drop 60lbs! About 50 of that is thanks to sema!

Started at 310, started sema at 300, now at 250. My goal is 200. I'm 5'8".

Before photo was May 10th and today's the day!
First injection was May 15th.

I'm feeling incredible! I get some sulfur burps like, two days after my shot, but I just eat less that day and it helps. I eat a lot of protein and just listen to my body. This med has been life-changing. I've dealt with being overweight and feeling down/anxious since I was a young teen. I even stopped taking my anxiety meds because the sema seems to help with that, too.

And definitely keep that dress so you can use it for comparison photos. It's so cool to see the progress using the same outfit!
 
I totally understand what you mean about the anxiety! I've noticed a huge difference in mine too. It's like the meds help calm everything down.
 
I'm so happy to hear about your success, Yuki2003. My journey has been about two years now, and the changes are mind-blowing. Started around 300 and I'm sitting pretty at 140 now. It's such a thrill!

That's amazing! Congrats on your journey. It's posts like yours that keep me motivated. Down about 40lbs and have another 170 to go!
 
The visceral fat under your belly could definitely be the issue. Insurance doesn't always cooperate on those scans, but the bone density angle might actually get them to approve it if you frame it right.
