Halfway to the new me!

I'm down about 35 pounds since July '24. Wish I'd had the foresight to snap some before pics! Dug around and found an old photo where I was wearing a specific t-shirt. I put it on again, along with the same jeans (though a size smaller, lol). It's subtle, but the shirt isn't stretched as much now.

That is like 35 sticks of butter that melted away from you. You can definitely see the change. This is just to show you how a sneaky 10lbs here and there isn’t even noticeable except for some minor bloating or when you can't button your pants. But when it all adds up you become like a dense brick covered in butter. The visceral fat makes you wider because it surrounds your organs. I think we all need to slim another 20-30 pounds more than we initially think. It only becomes clear after we reach our first set goal. Great job and keep up the great work. Ozempic or not, dropping pounds isn’t effortless. It’s altering your entire lifestyle and reinventing who you are. Keep going!

Definitely noticing your shirt isn't as snug in the chest area. Perhaps you shed some back fat too! That might be why you're not seeing the loss everywhere. Your hips look better, and you lost weight in your mid-section. The space between your shoulder and face grew as well. Overall you look slimmer. So much loss!

It looks like you've lost weight all over. Did you start any kind of exercise regimen in conjunction with the medication? You look more fit rather than just deflated from weightloss. Gradual weightloss is probably better overall.

I feel great! I've been dealing with some loose skin on my upper arms. Not sure if there's anything I can do about that... any suggestions from anyone?

Congrats on your progress so far. You may need to see a dermatologist for advice. I have heard of some people doing arm exercises to try and tighten the skin. There are also medical procedures but they are expensive.

Maybe check out some weightlifting routines! I started doing some light weights when I noticed the same thing happening and it helped a bit.
