I've been waiting all year to share this! Last Halloween, I was hovering around 200 lbs and in total denial. I squeezed into my 'usual' costume, even though it was way too tight. I knew I'd gained some, but I was shocked when I finally faced the scale. I was nearly 35 pounds heavier than my normal 165 or so. This Halloween? I'm down to 148! It's the lightest I've been since I started caring about weight. This month marks a year on semaglutide, and I can't believe the confidence boost. I finally feel like I look like myself. Oh, and I'm about 5'8".

Okay, I might get some heat for this, but honestly? If I looked like you did in the 'before' picture, I probably wouldn't have considered semaglutide unless a doctor prescribed it for something other than weight loss. Your starting weight is actually my goal weight (though I'm a few inches shorter). But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if you're happier now, that's what matters. And damn, you're gorgeous then and now! Congrats!

Edit: Also, that kitchen upgrade is amazing!

I saw a post the other day about someone who dropped almost 90 pounds after being on Ozempic for 11 months. Incredible!

HawkGal I never would have considered this medication if it wasn't for some co-morbidities I have. I'm glad it's working for weight loss, but the other effects are really life-changing on a day to day basis.

There was a post about someone who's been on Mounjaro for 3 months now and lost about 28 pounds. Said they were close to being out of the 'obese' range, which is a HUGE victory! It's inspiring to see these success stories.
