Happy tears over smaller clothes!

I've noticed a couple of non-scale victories recently. I almost didn't recognize myself in a photo from several years ago; my face has changed so much! Then, last night, at the amusement park, I tried on a shirt in a smaller size than I thought I could wear, and it fit! I was so happy I cried a little.

Started at 505 lbs, now at 380 lbs.

Congratulations! Keep up the amazing work! I'm so happy for you!

Scale victories are nice, but the non-scale ones are what really give me a boost.

Have a wonderful trip, and enjoy your new shirt! 🤩

Brava from another theme park enthusiast! I had a similar moment recently when I saw some old engagement photos and realized my face doesn't look like that anymore. I've also gone from an XXL to an XL.

Someone asked me why I've stayed on my meds even after reaching a healthy BMI. For me, it's about more than just the number on the scale. It helps manage my cravings and keeps me on track with healthy habits. Plus, my A1C has never been better!

I agree with @EndoConsult_TX! The mental benefits are huge. It's not just about the weight, it's about feeling good and having more energy. I've gone from a size 10 to a size 4 and the confidence boost is amazing!!

That's fantastic! It's amazing how much weight loss can improve one's self-esteem and overall well-being.

Get someone you're comfortable with to shop together. Take it gradual since you're still losing - clothes will only last months. Don't drop lots on stuff till you land. Went 260 to 135 myself. Now spend more on quality stuff I can mix and match. Found shops with folks who know sizing. Still sometimes doesn't feel real but before/after pics prove it. You'll get there and have fun!
