Has everyone experienced a persistently elevated resting heart rate on Mounjaro?

Curious about other people's experience here. After starting mounjaro, noticed through my fitness tracker that resting heart rate climbed from the mid 60s into the mid 80s over about four and a half months. Now switched to retatrutide and it's staying elevated in the upper 80s. For anyone who noticed a resting heart rate increase after starting mounjaro, did it eventually return to your earlier baseline? If so, how long did that take? Did the increase seem tied to dose at all?

Full disclosure, I'm on a fairly low dose. But 1.5mg of reta weekly hasn't touched my resting heart rate at all.

Same experience here, reta sent my resting heart rate through the roof, just sitting watching tv it'd spike into the 140s. In my 50s now, so anything cardiac feels serious to me. Switched back to tirz.

Yeah, this is pretty typical and usually ties back to resting heart rate improving as weight drops and the body adapts. Retatrutide's shown some of the biggest RHR increases in studies, Mounjaro tends to sit on the lower end. It's dose-dependent too, so higher amounts generally mean a bigger RHR bump.

Even accounting for the RHR and HRV changes, these medications have demonstrated real cardiovascular benefits, semaglutide especially, so it's not purely a downside.
