HW: almost 300lbs, current weight: under 200, goal weight: around 175 (mostly care about body fat now). Started around spring of last year and went up to .5mg and have been lowering the dose for around 3 months because I want to stop Semaglutide. Currently at .1mg for a month and that's it. Have been cooking all my meals and eating around 1,800 calories every day and have been hitting the gym 5-6 times a week.

Incredible work! How are you planning to maintain once you are completely off? I'm terrified of gaining it all back.

When you stop, are you worried the pounds will come back?

That's a valid concern @VegasVolcano. Maintenance is definitely the hardest part. I've been off for a few months now, and it's a constant battle to not slip back into old habits.

@Chill_Mom, that's the million dollar question! Honestly, I'm hoping the habits I've built – meal prepping, working out consistently – will be enough. I'm also planning to keep a close eye on my weight and not be afraid to adjust calories if needed. Maybe even consider a low dose again if things go south.

It's great that you're already tapering down

A slow taper + continued healthy diet and exercise is the best way to prevent regaining weight.

I've heard some people have success maintaining after stopping GLP-1s. One person on Reddit said they had been off since April and only gained back like 10lbs from the 100 they lost cause they still watch what they eat and workout. Good luck!

Lost some weight early on. Search engine results for tirzepatide trial studies show cleaner data than forums. Constipation, nausea, diarrhea common. So far nothing bad.

Same - I've lost this much before and weighed less too, but never had labs like this. The numbers look way better now.

5 to 7.5 was rough—bloated, tired, feeling sick for a few days after my shot. Plus weight loss kind of stalled the last three weeks. I think I'm ready to try 10 or maybe split back down to 5.

You actually have feet all over again. Lost about 100 and now expecting so regaining. Miss how slim my feet were after so many obese years. Such an underrated win if you ask me.
