First progress selfie. Don't see a huge change myself, but maybe my smile is a bit better? Started keto-ish diet on Dec 1st. Started generic semaglutide through an online provider on Dec 6th.
Just a reminder about the rules. We don't allow discussion of non-FDA approved versions of semaglutide or selling/offering meds for sale, even in private messages. Don't reply to anyone offering those; they aren't endorsed here.
Hey CompoundBro, to answer your question, I'm mostly doing keto - lots of meat, cheese, and veggies. I try to keep my carbs under 30g a day. And yeah, I'm working out 3-4 times a week, mostly weight training. Nothing crazy, just trying to build some muscle while losing weight.
That's a real achievement Heal_Gang! I'm down about 30 pounds since starting sema but I'm hoping to get even better results. Did you have any side effects when you first started?
I feel you! It's so frustrating when you see others having faster progress on the same medication. I'm about 2 months in and only down about 10 lbs. I guess everyone's body reacts differently?
To answer Pip_86, yeah, I had some nausea and constipation the first couple weeks. But it got better after my body adjusted to it. Make sure youre drinking lots of water and maybe try some fiber supplements or stool softeners if needed. Good luck!
Congrats on your progress! I'm also around the same height and was almost your starting weight. My goal is about where you wanna be too. So thanks for posting, it encourages me!
