Hey everyone!

I'm so happy to share that I've reached a huge goal on my weight loss journey with Mounjaro! After about 10 months, I've shed 95 pounds! Considering I had already lost about 105 pounds before starting, that's a total of 200 pounds gone! I was mostly on the 5mg dose. It's been a long road, but I'm finally here, LOL.

It's kinda weird adjusting to this new me. I've gone from a size 26 to a size 10... it's hard to wrap my head around it. Anyone have any tips for body image stuff and accepting this new version of myself? I'm 32, female, HW: 360, CW: 160.

Maybe some online support forums would help? I'd be interested in joining one...

Also, how are people managing maintenance? I'd love some insight. I've been feeling a bit lightheaded when I stand up lately, and my blood pressure seems low. I think my body is just recalibrating!

First, let me say congrats! I underwent gastric bypass like 18 years ago, and I got rid of 108 pounds. There were a bunch of feelings going on for me. I definitely struggled a bit with body dysmorphia. What helped me most was seeing other women at the gym. It made me realize everyone has imperfections and I began to love my loose skin.

Fantastic! HUGE congratulations! I really appreciate reading experiences like yours. It keeps my daughter and me motivated while we're taking Ozempic. We've only been on it for a few months and were hoping to lose like 35 pounds by now, ha! But I see it takes time. Thanks for sharing your journey!

That is amazing work! For maintenance, ensure you are eating the amount of calories you need to maintain. Maintaining on a low dose weekly or every other week is what I did. Congrats!

That is truly amazing. Way to go! Losing 95 pounds is such a huge amount. If you are at a gym, pick up two 45 pound dumbbells. Now imagine doing that. That's what you have done. It is truly life changing!

How is everyone paying for semaglutide? Do you have insurance coverage or something? What's the least expensive way?

I started weight training, which helped me feel more in control of my body. Plus, seeing muscle definition appear under where the fat used to be is a great motivator! Give it a try!

I saw a guy on Reddit who lost a ton of weight and he looked like a total male model now lol. Good for him! I wish I had that kind of transformation. Confidence is everything. He looked 20 years younger!

There was another person who lost a lot of weight and said their diet was key! I'm finding the same thing. I've been focusing on protein and vegetables and that helps keep cravings down. They mentioned pickleball and Peloton as exercise they enjoy.
