Hit a plateau... finally broken!

I'm so relieved! After being stuck at the same weight for what felt like forever (since the fall), the scale is finally moving downwards again!

I posted about this a while back, mentioning that I had lost 1/5 of my starting weight but was totally stalled. Looks like the changes I made are finally making a difference.

I added weightlifting 3 times a week, cardio nearly every day, bumped up my protein intake, and my doc also increased my dose to 2mg.

Stats:
38F 5'7
Starting weight: 249lbs
Current weight: 192lbs

I always considered a few pounds up or down to be pretty stable... until the inevitable plateau hits! Then the same thing happens again. My current "stable" weight is 185 after bouncing around 195 for the last month or so. Plateaus are the worst! lol.

I see some minor ups and downs, but not a true plateau. Consider using a weight tracking app; it's easier to see trends that way. Congrats on the progress!

I'm in month three of a weight loss stall after dropping over 130 pounds. I was starting to think this was as far as I could go. I switched to Tirzepatide a month and a half ago, but I'm still stuck. However, I've also been concentrating on protein and started resistance training last month. Hoping for results like yours! I'm trying to lose one final pant size!

Wow, a 4-month plateau! I've been stressing over my 2 1/2 week stall 😅. Congrats on the progress! I was steadily losing about a pound a week and finally got under 300, down to 291. Then, over a few days, I went back up to 295 and have been stuck there since. These last couple of weeks have been so stressful. I would have been devastated if it were a multi-month stall. I know they're inevitable, but I wasn't expecting one so early on.

I've started only recording my weight when it's lower than the previous time. I see a steady decline, and I'm not stressing over minor fluctuations.

I use Ozempic for a month, stop for 2 months, then go back on for another month. I've found that if I gain any weight back, it comes off quickly, and I never really hit a plateau that way.

My dad declared he was giving up, saying he was some medical anomaly incapable of getting below 250lbs. The next day, his plateau ended. You have to trick the scale into thinking you don’t care, lol.

As of this morning, I'm down 8lbs since starting this new routine on March 1st! My plan is working! After 4 months of almost no change, I am officially 190lbs!!!!
