Hit my goal BMI!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
started ozempic end of january and just had my checkup. fatty liver's down, cholesterol's down, weight is down 24 kg. was 112 kg in december, now targeting 84. doing 12 hour fasting plus 1 mg a week, no sugar or bread or rice.

30.2 to normal is close - the BMI threshold crossing tends to feel bigger than the number suggests after carrying the 'obese' label.

Anchoring the goal to lean body mass rather than a standard BMI table is the more precise approach - what you look and feel like at that lean mass number will tell you more than any chart.

57 here, obese since age eight. Peak weight hit 288lbs. The target number kept shifting the whole way through before finally settling at 138, hit that milestone last week. Can't say the mirror fully matches how it feels inside, body image distortion is real, but overall feeling good. This weight seems maintainable, and it lands in a healthy BMI range, not by much, sitting around 23.7, but realistic and sustainable given everything else at this age.

Biggest suggestion is treating the end goal as flexible. Getting a body-composition scan done is always a smart move, and listening to the body matters. A sibling hit goal weight but started passing out, added back ten pounds and immediately felt way better. Aim for healthy and happy overall and let the actual number land wherever it needs to.
