Started my journey around late June '24, pretty nervous about it. My man has type 2 diabetes and really bad sleep apnea. His doc suggested Moujaro, so I decided to try Semaglutide with him for support. He's down like, 150lbs! I've dropped 60 with not too many side effects. My face looks so different! Wish I loved my body changes more. I've lost a ton of inches, around 39, but the loose skin is bumming me out. I swear I have more than my husband, and he's lost way more! Being in peri-menopause is probably not helping. Still super happy with my progress and can't wait to lose another 60. I find everyone's stories here so encouraging!

Thanks for posting! Just a reminder, we don't allow talk about non-FDA approved versions of semaglutide, or selling/offering meds, even privately. Don't answer private messages offering that, we don't endorse them.

You're doing great! Congrats!

I'm sure your skin will get better over time.

Hope your husband's apnea and diabetes are also improving.

I'm 5'6" and was 275lbs, now 251lbs in less than two months. Excited to see what happens with my diabetes.

You look amazing! What you've accomplished is awesome, and it's amazing you and your husband are doing it together. Also, you have gorgeous eyes!

If you aren't doing strength training, start ASAP! Building muscle helps you avoid that skinny fat look. Congrats on losing weight!

Hey NoShortcuts, that's a great point about strength training. Does anyone have a good routine they recommend for someone new to it, especially while on sema? I worry about losing muscle mass along with fat.

It's so inspiring to see people hitting big milestones! It's been a consistent effort and I'm down about 65-75 pounds. I am feeling so much better and healthier!. It took me around 12 months, with some hiccups, but I'm headed toward my goals!

That's awesome! It's good to know a realistic timeframe. Makes me feel better since I'm not dropping weight super fast.
