Last August I began Mounjaro at 231 lbs, and now I've reached my goal of 135. Looking and feeling the way I do makes me happier than I've been in years, my confidence is back and there's energy left for playing with my children. What I can't crack is exercise. All year I've tried to get going and failed, repeatedly. I have ADHD and can't make myself stick with things, and the idea of working out bores me stiff. I also fight burnout and exhaustion, plus a chronic pain disorder that wipes me out faster than before. Our children are aged 12, 10 and 3. My middle child lives with a rare neurological condition, and I'm his main carer, so it feels like a second toddler at home. My husband helps when he can but leaves at 5am and gets back after bedtime. Any free time goes to resting. I know I need toning and a steady routine ready before I stop the medication one day. How did you talk yourself into it? What actually worked when you were drained?
