Hit my goal weight - now what?!

I've managed to stay at my ideal weight since last summer. My weight bounces from 130 to 133ish. I take a maintenance dose of my meds maybe once every three weeks. This has changed my life for the better. I now know the feeling of actual hunger and my food choices are much better. I started around 214 pounds. It took me about 9 months to lose the weight.

Thanks for posting! Just a reminder to everyone, let's keep the discussion to FDA-approved medications only. No selling or sourcing, please. Check out the FAQ if you're new here:

Wow, once every 21 days is interesting. That roughly lines up with some research I've seen. Thank you for sharing and congrats. Do you have any exercise or diet tips you can share?

How tall are you? I'm 5'7" and I went from 234 to 154 over the last year. I feel good at this weight and I'm ready to start maintenance. But that weight sounds a bit high compared to other people on sema. Since I'm 57, I'm wondering if age factors in.

Started Zepbound since October, down 12 lbs at 4 months. Running again slowly but steadily. Two kids, dog person, sourdough is not my thing but I'm working on trusting the process daily.

Thank you for posting this! I'm getting close to maintenance and it's making me nervous, so it helps to see others successfully navigate this. Thank you for sharing your routine. You look great.

You look FANTASTIC! Thank you for adding details in the comments, too. Finding the right maintenance dose/schedule has been difficult for me, and your routine is interesting.

Great job! I'm happy for you.
I have a question. I started semaglutide and now I crave pretzels and crackers. Isn't that strange? I normally eat clean foods. Has anyone else experienced this?

That's really encouraging. I'm just starting out and maintenance seems a little confusing. It's great to see that it's possible!

What's it feel like day to day? Any precautions I should be aware of?
For me, the first few days after my shot I eat less and feel fuller faster. Make sure you drink plenty of water! Some people experience nausea, so maybe have some ginger ale on hand just in case. Good luck!
