Started at 254, now at 199.8 - Officially under 200! Such a milestone. Haven't been this light since the mid-90s, I think? I'd aimed for 200 so many times. Once, I got to 200.1, went on a trip, and came back heavier than ever. Now I'm setting a new goal of 170. That's around my old high school weight. Still technically overweight by BMI, but we'll see!

Huge congrats! I'm hoping to join you soon. Started at 313, currently at 240. My immediate goal is 190.

Congratulations!! I totally understand that feeling of thinking never to be under 200lbs again. Great job so far and good luck reaching your ultimate goal!

I saw someone online talk about being able to dance again after losing weight. That's inspiring! Has anyone else experienced a return to activities they thought they'd given up?

That's really interesting about dancing! I have a friend who says she can now play with her kids without getting winded. Small victories make a big difference. She's using one of the newer weight management meds, might be why.

It's so inspiring to see other people reaching their goals. I'm just starting out. I've read about people losing a lot in a short time. Is that typical? I'm a bit nervous about side effects.
Everyone's experience is unique, Keto_Sis. I'm on a GLP-1, and I lost pretty quickly initially, but it's slowed down. Just listen to your body and work closely with your doctor. Side effects can happen, but they're often manageable.
