I've seen a 1 as the first number on my scale! I'm freakin' out!!

Shooting for 180

Semaglutide has seriously been life-changing. Had a mild stroke a couple of years back, at the young age of 42. Couldn't get the pounds off no matter what. Started taking semaglutide the last week of December.

Basically zero bad effects for the whole 6 months I've been using it.

This forum has been super helpful for motivation and advice.

Stick with it everyone - I never thought this would actually happen for me!

A week ago, I went under 200 (my weight when I was in the Army) for the first time in roughly 30 years. Congrats!

It took me 7 months starting from 235, and I'll be at my GW in less than 15 lbs more (180-185).

Wow, congrats to you too

Down to 218 this morning from 270 last year. Haven’t been this light since '09. Aiming for 180 but being under 200 is probably a 25 year milestone for me too. Congrats!!
It's HUGE when you realize how long it's been since you were this weight!!!

It's so awesome to hear about everyone's success!

But the non-scale victories are a much better story.
Those NSVs are the best, right?! Like clothes fitting better, more energy... just feeling GOOD!

Congrats to everyone reaching their goals! I just started my first dose a few days ago and haven't noticed anything yet. I know it's early, but I'm hoping it kicks in soon!

I'm curious, for those of you who've lost a lot of weight... how are you handling the loose skin? I'm a bit worried about that.
I'm trying to stay ahead of that game. I'm doing strength training to try and build some muscle underneath and using lotion with collagen and vitamin E.
