Started taking it in October of last year, I was around 360 lbs. Today I weigh 147. I've been holding steady for about 3 months now. I bounce between 150 and 160, but I dropped a little more recently because of some stress. So grateful for this med!

So, am I understanding correctly that you shed approximately 213 lbs in about nine months? You mentioned initiating it roughly 12 months prior, with the last 3 dedicated to maintaining your current weight, correct?

I just looked at your profile and saw your earlier posts when you weren't feeling so great. Amazing turnaround! I usually don't comment, but you did great. Best of luck!

Wow, thanks! You should be so proud. I had a somewhat similar journey in a very similar timeframe! This med gave me a new chapter. Instead of worrying about how I looked and felt in my clothes, now I'm thinking about putting on some muscle, and maybe trying some new styles. Great work!

I'm approaching my second year on semaglutide and I'm noticing a very big reduction in how effective it is. Has anyone here had their doctor prescribe phentermine on top of semaglutide to combat the increase in appetite? I'm trying to figure out a long term strategy. Is this med something that works long term?

I’ve been on it for a while now, and know my body. I'd say get your thyroid checked and maybe see an endocrinologist. Make sure there isn’t something else hormonal going on that's negatively affecting things. Also, are you on any other meds that might be increasing your appetite?

@[A1C-Slayer], that's a good point about the thyroid. I had mine checked before starting, and it made a big difference to have that baseline. Good luck to everyone on their journeys!
