metabolic adaptation sucks. drop the dose, eat a slight surplus for a couple months to let your body recover, then ramp back up. you need that refeed period after serious weight loss.
Started at 1 mg, planned to go up after a week or two but I'm losing over 3 lbs weekly and can't afford to lose muscle. Still at 1 mg, 4th dose, might stay here till weekly loss drops below 1%. I'm a strong responder apparently. Side effects are tolerable so far—lower gym energy, rough sleep, mild stomach stuff.
The maintenance plateau is real! I bought a whole size 12 wardrobe too early and ended up in size 8 after 4 months on maintenance. Now everything is loose and it's kind of funny in a frustrating way lol.
That's pretty standard. You go up to 2.4 (Wegovy) and eventually stabilize there. Not sure if jumping to 7.2 makes sense but it's an option. Just remember you might not have brand name stuff if you're talking units - it all comes down to concentration per mL. 2.4 mg is typically the top maintenance dose anyway.
