Hitting my Mounjaro Milestone!

After being anti-meds for so long and trying every natural remedy in the book, my doctor told me to give him one year and he'd change my life. Well, dang, he was right! I'm 60 years old, started at 220lbs and now weigh 135lbs. I'm shooting for 130! I haven't been this slim since the mid-90s! Went from a size 16/XL to a size 6/M. Thankfully, my bust didn't disappear completely. I was on 10mg but the side effects were too much, so I dropped to 7.5mg. Now I'm on maintenance! Loving my thrift store finds!

Great work! It's so inspiring to see people taking control of their health. I'm curious, did anyone experience muscle separation or diastasis recti after significant weight loss?

I just want to thank everyone for their amazing replies! I didn't expect this much support. It is good to be at a healthy weight again. You can do it too!

went up to 10, now on 5 for 8 months to stop losing more. day before next shot i get ravenous. snacking healthy between meals keeps me stable. wasn't like this at 7.5 or 10. good luck.

that progress is solid, especially since you already did the metformin groundwork first. baseline matters way more than people think. jump from 20 to 40 pounds tracks with finding the right dose for most people.

i do low and slow. 0.5mg weeks 1–4, 0.8mg week 5. down 12 lbs so far. doing tracking, lifting, cardio for a solid deficit. goal is 20–25 this year, retraining my eating habits as i go. seem like a super responder—at 0.5 i could take or leave food. my 10mg vial's gonna expire first lol.
