How are you all handling protein/nutrition now that your appetite's basically gone?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Several months running mounjaro and results have been genuinely strong, but there's a recurring struggle around eating enough. Appetite's dropped so low that meals rarely feel like they cover what's actually needed, protein especially. Bigger worry is muscle disappearing alongside fat purely from general undereating rather than eating with any real strategy. How's everyone navigating this? Anyone tracking specifics, following a set structure, relying on a phone tool, or mostly winging it by feel? Has something genuinely worked getting the most nutrition out of that shrunken eating window rather than only cutting portions? Most conventional nutrition advice doesn't seem built for this particular pattern, curious what's actually delivering results for people here.

Is enough food and movement happening? Dealt with an eating disorder personally once, and legs swelled significantly from malnutrition combined with low activity tied to exhaustion.

Research shows calories and protein intake matter most here. This medication class doesn't function as intended unless the body gets adequate calories and protein. Undereating seems to be the issue.

As a fellow vegetarian, curious how you're managing to hit protein daily along with enough fiber. Been a real struggle for me since the appetite suppression and fullness have hit pretty hard.

Genuinely comforting knowing I'm not the only one dealing with this. Doing a shake built around protein for breakfast and again in the late afternoon, assuming I remember before the weekday slips away. Started setting 2-3 hour timers throughout the day just to remind myself to grab a snack. Went through absolutely brutal side effects on OZ, stuck with that for over a year too. Mounjaro's been a huge improvement by comparison, so now working on tackling the not-eating-enough side of things...if nothing else, for my hair's sake, lol.
