How long does your Tirz last in the fridge?

Been wondering this myself, honestly. Got a compounded tirz kit with six vials that I started using back in early May. Just finished the first vial and opened the second a little while back, so five are left and I'm only a few months into using this batch. Kept them refrigerated from day one, and it's the only version of this medication I've used. Feels like it's lost a bit of its punch honestly. Food noise is still mostly under control, but appetite's returned somewhat compared to earlier on.

Currently at a higher dose and considering pushing further just to burn through this supply before opening a different batch that isn't compounded.

Should these remaining vials stay in the fridge for the months ahead, or would the freezer make more sense, using one at a time as needed? Based on my dosing it'll take the better part of a year to get through everything.

They were meant to last several months as prescribed, so I assumed they'd hold up fine unopened, but now I'm second-guessing that.
 
On compounded tirz from a pharmacy I got three vials at once for three months, so I found it odd too :) I think her worry was sterility after that long, even with careful technique. Sounds like it's pretty common though, so I'll tell her.
 
Data suggest tirzepatide holds up well for roughly two months once mixed and chilled, then potency slides. Retatrutide is likely less stable, so I wouldn't be shocked to see degradation around day 60. A fresh vial would show whether it's degradation. Curious folks here would love to hear what you find.
 
Things improved for me after roughly 8 weeks. Don't try titrating up until side effects just are manageable. Zofran carried me through the first 48 hours, then daily Miralax for the other issue. just Oral NMNH (NAD+) helped my low energy. just I was worried too, because sitting in my freezer was roughly a decade's worth of tirz. Four months in, up to 5mg, and I feel great, shot day included.
 
Your tirz is okay. Whatever I won't touch for several months goes in the freezer. Stuff I'm about to use lives in the fridge, reconstituted or not. Some people freeze the whole kit and take one out at a time. A vial lasts me two to three weeks, so I usually pull 2 at once. No idea about filtering. Congrats on your first touchdown of many.
 
tirz is a really hardy peptide, repeated freeze-thaw only costs about 2% degradation. about the plastic tube, that's why im asking, they arent made for long-term storage like pen cartridges, but im considering it. i didnt know better before joining here and i impulse bought a vial that was too big. im about 5-6 weeks in and only about 1/3 used, and id like to save it. splitting the remainder into other vials means they'd already have lost 5-6 weeks of life, and id want about 6 vials to stretch it. or i could preload syringes and grab them when needed without worrying that half the life is gone already, if youre fine with a 90 day limit. if you toss it after 28 days im well past that lol. thats my conundrum
