How long is YOUR bac water good for?

I've been using the same vial of bac water for nearly two months now, and I've refilled my peptide vials maybe three times. How long is it really safe to use after you've stuck a needle in it, especially when kept in the fridge? I'm asking because I'm seeing some redness at the injection site now. Thanks for any advice.

I use the prefilled vials and I'll use them right up until they're empty, which takes me around two and a half months. I wouldn't push it past three months, personally, but everyone's comfort level is different.

I usually just add a bit more benzyl alcohol to the vial after a few months. Never had any issues doing that.

If you haven't opened it, it's probably fine at room temp. But once you've used it, I heard it's only good for a month in the fridge.

I don't think light matters for bac water. It's mostly just sterile water with a tiny bit of alcohol, right?

The one-month rule is usually for hospitals and labs where they're using it constantly. For personal use, I've gone past two months with no issues. I just keep it in a dark drawer and sanitize before and after each use. If you're using those individual vials from online, the fridge might be a better idea, and you can use it as long as you're comfortable, but a month is the safest bet.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I think I'll toss it just to be safe. Redness at the injection site is a good enough reason to be cautious.

This is all kind of confusing! I'm just starting with peptides and trying to figure out the mixing and dosing. Is there a good place to find instructions? It seems like everyone just assumes you already know how to do it.
I found this calculator helpful when I was starting out: https://peptidescalculator.com/ It helps with reconstitution and dosage. Good luck!

Hit another goal lately. Went this long without eating for real food only back in my early twenties. Getting close to 263 tomorrow and just hoping I have the mental stamina at work to push through.

Where'd you find 28 days for reconstituted peptides? Pfizer's label doesn't mention it. Heard of it but hospira prints expiration that goes way past 28 days with no mention of a post-opening limit.

I've got a vial and I'm running low doses—1 to 2mg a week—so I want to stretch it as far as I can. Keep it in a medicine-only fridge, clean the vial every time, filtered it, used Hospira bac water. Took all the precautions. How long can I really get out of it before it breaks down? Know if it stays clear with no particles I'm good?

Most are sold as 10-vial kits. R30 is 30 mg per vial, 10 vials = 300 mg total, pricing around 66 cents per mg is decent. I got scammed early on reseller prices—the difference between that and the actual market is insane. Grab Hospira BAC water when you see it; the shortage makes it hard to find.

Filtering definitely made me nervous the first go. But it was simpler than expected. Just watch some videos first and you'll figure it out. Once you have everything you need, you're fine.

i get that testing shows what's in the vial, same as brand stuff. but does anyone get better results from one vendor vs another at the same mg? like some vendors just don't hit right even if the testing checks out?
