Hungry after my dose... anyone else?

I'll try it! Benadryl didn't do much, but I didn't think of Zyrtec. I was also using after bite, but it's basically the same as Benadryl. Thanks a million!

I'm glad the medication is working for you! For me, it's helped my body work correctly, for the first time ever. I've been lucky that appropriately eating has never been my issue, but now I feel like I'm not fighting my thyroid, metabolic, and absorption problems, or high cortisol! It's amazing to have a body and a system that is finally working right!

It's important to remember that even a small change, like a smaller serving or skipping a late-night snack, can make a big difference over time.

I didn't gain 140lbs in just a year. So, I'm not expecting to lose all of it in a year either. It's been about a year, and I'm down 70lbs.

That's life-altering. Hopefully, I can keep it going.

Why did I compulsively eat before? I don't know. I suspect it's related to sugar metabolism. But whatever it is, this is working.

I haven't really changed anything, but everything has changed. 🤷🏻‍♂️

FWIW, around week nine or so, I stopped getting the strongest appetite suppression on the day of my dose. It shifted to the second and third day after. My app shows that I'm on the downslope of medication concentration in my body when I feel the most effects/side effects. It's strange. Same for the last few weeks.

Yeah, same here - it's this sharp, burning sensation for me, almost like nerve pain. First few days after I inject usually hit the hardest. Still no clue what triggers it, wish I had an answer though.

I've noticed a difference in my hunger since starting this medication. I still get hungry, but the blood sugar crashes and urgency to eat aren't as bad. I'll get around to eating something eventually.

I realized something this week: I don’t save the "best bite" for last anymore! I would do that unconsciously, making sure my last bite was the yummiest. But now, I eat the best parts when I want them because I am much more likely to stop eating when I am full!

Real talk, how quick after dosing did that hit you? Trying to figure out the timing because I'm wondering if I should schedule my first dose for a Friday lol. Want to make sure I have a handle on when things might get weird so I can plan accordingly.

Could you try moving straight to the standard 2.5mg instead? That dose lets you see where you're at, then bump to 5mg after a month. Skipping it might mean missing the ramp window.

Yeah, starting that high is gonna mess you up pretty bad. I went through the same thing where bumping up the dose hit me harder the first couple times. What helped was splitting it in half and spreading it out over a few days instead of taking the full amount at once.

Eight months in, six foot, dropped from 244 to 185. That's 59 down and 13 left. Didn't spot the difference until side-by-side. If you're thinking about it, go for it. Stuck at 2.5mg because bumping up made me feel lousy. Using this to hit that final 13 and hoping other guys see this too - most pics are women which rules, but I needed to see men like me doing it.
