I fit in a smaller size!

I've been struggling with clothing sizes. Even after dropping around 60lbs, I always buy the bigger sizes. Even though my older clothes have been baggy for a while now. I'm always afraid I'll try a smaller size, it won't fit, and I'll get discouraged. But yesterday I saw this awesome shirt, and it only came in a size medium. I decided to buy it and return it if it didn't fit since the store is close to my hotel....and it fit! It slid right on!

YOU GO GIRL! I know that had to be such a huge confidence boost! I'm in the same situation, keep up the great work!

Congrats! Our stats are nearly the same! I started around 232, went to 227 when I started Wegovy, and now I'm 167. I can't figure out clothing anymore! I can't figure out how clothes fit when you're not trying to check off boxes like: covering my stomach, arms, layering to look “slimmer,” etc. And I think I should get my bra size changed though. Just a bit nervous to do it. Congrats on just taking that step. Opening yourself up like that is really hard!

Daaaahhhmmnnnn u look great! How long did that take? Sema or Tirz? & how much did u lose?? Yes I’m being nosy but I gotta know cuz I’ve been stuck at the same weight for 2 months on Sema

Body dysmorphia is a real thing! I don't know if I'll ever feel like the smaller size. Plus, clothes are so confusing now! If things fit, what do I even want to wear?!

Amazing! I'm struggling with this too. I wish I could change the algorithm for clothing ads - I only see ads for plus-size stores. Even when I'm selecting a size on Amazon, I don't like how it says “XXL is your recommended size”… not anymore, Amazon!

Yeah, it's crazy how much this changes your life...I lost around 160lbs myself. Being confident in my looks, going to the beach, shopping for clothes...it's all so different now. And no more sleep apnea!

That's great to hear about the sleep apnea being gone! That's such a huge win for your health.

I am about to start on Mounjaro this week. I am 5'3" with a starting weight of 270lbs and I can't believe that this level of weight loss is possible for me. I just want to move easier, not hurt, and not be tired all the time. I want to feel confident.
