Back in the day, I shed like 175 lbs with diet and exercise. But something happened... the weight piled back on. So last year, my doc prescribed semaglutide. The pounds practically evaporated for about 8 months. Then I got super sick, thinking it was maybe an ulcer. No clue if the meds caused it, but after stopping, my stomach eventually settled, and I restarted the semaglutide and kept losing.
Now I'm about 210 lbs lighter than my peak weight, with 165 gone thanks to the medicine. I sometimes still get a little queasy if I'm starving. I track my meals with a food diary to keep an eye on my intake. I'm in maintenance now, a little spooky, can't lose forever. People keep saying "you're vanishing!" (I'm not.) No curves, flat chest, never had much of a waist. But I can walk uphill without breathing hard, and I can shop anywhere I want. Used to wear size 28/30, now I'm size 8/10. Best of luck everyone!
