That's awesome! My wife had the same goal... We're both on the shorter side (5'4" M / 5'2" F) and when we got married, we were pretty much the same weight.

I started working out and gained muscle, and she pretty much stayed the same or weighed a little more than me, which she wasn't thrilled about. Years later, we were both heavier than we wanted to be, so we both started sema to drop a few. She's lost about 28 lbs and I'm down about 20. She's now about 12lbs lighter than me and feels great...and looks amazing, if I may say so myself.

That’s fantastic, congrats! ❤️ I’m at 175 and weigh less than my 18 year old son now. It’s a really good feeling.

My wife definitely had this goal too. I started on Ozempic first, and after a year (and losing 55# to get close to my goal) my wife decided to try it. She was so excited to get under my weight while she kept going towards her goal weight. She's now maybe 15-20# under her goal and around 45# less than what I weigh now. Congrats on your success!

Me too! This was totally a secret goal of mine. I'm 5lbs less than him now and I feel so much better!

That’s awesome!! 😎 I really want this too, my starting weight was 305, I’m currently at 245, my husband weighs about 240 so I’m getting close! Next stop: under 200!

My husband is 140 at 5’10, my goal weight is 140 or maybe just a tiny bit less for bragging rights, lol. I started at 223 and I am now at 176. It's still a journey, but I am definitely getting there! Congrats to you!

I don’t think people talk enough about how a woman’s weight compared to her partner’s affects her. At one point, I think I might have weighed a little bit more than my husband, and for a while we were about the same weight. Now, thanks to sema, I’m around 60 lbs lighter than him (although he could afford to lose about 30 lbs, honestly). And I'm not as self-conscious in certain situations anymore. I didn't want to before.

I completely agree. There's so much pressure and expectation, both internal and external. It's great to hear how these meds are helping people feel more confident and comfortable.

That's hilarious, Robin16! I totally get the 'bragging rights' goal, lol. I'm nowhere near my husband's weight yet, but I'm getting closer every week. It's so motivating!

I remember one guy saying he stayed on the lowest dose of .25 for a year and a half. He went from 367 to 249! First time he'd seen 240-something on the scale as an adult. Just goes to show you don't always have to keep upping the dose to see results!

That is amazing! Slow and steady wins the race. These meds are such a helpful tool!
