I'm such an idiot!

So, I've been taking what I thought was a semaglutide medication for the past two months. I've managed to drop about 11 pounds. But I had a revelation tonight - I haven't been injecting it right at all. I kept thinking I wasn't doing it correctly. I finally went searching on this forum and discovered in an old thread that I wasn't taking off the inner cap. I've wasted over 3mg of the stuff! And I've been bragging about not having any side effects. It's amazing what a placebo can do!

Seriously, how did that even happen?

I watch the needle as it goes into my skin; didn't you see that there was just plastic pushing on your skin?

I've heard of other people messing this up, but I don't understand how. Maybe you didn't even need it and that's why you lost weight!

What do you mean you didn't remove the inner cap? How did you try injecting yourself without doing that? Where did you think the medication was going? I don't understand.

How is that even possible? I'm skeptical. It's a needle, so how can you not realize it's not going into your skin? I'm calling BS.

Well, you were losing weight, so supposedly you got it in. I'm not buying it. How can you not remove the other cap? You'd have to be pretty stupid to do that 😂

I wouldn't use a GLP-1 if you're losing weight that well and that fast because of possible side effects, some rare ones, the expense, and the high likelihood of regaining weight when stopping. I read that most people feel hungrier than before after stopping, though weaning off slowly can help.

Ok, I get it, you all think I'm a moron. I'm not going to argue that point. I was just so excited to start, and I was nervous about needles, and I just didn't pay attention. Live and learn, right?

Since you're new to injecting, you might find this helpful. If you're ever using BPC-157 for an injury, some people swear by injecting it as close to the injury as possible. Like micro-dosing around the area. I'm not sure how that works with a medication like ozempic though.

I've heard of that micro-dosing technique too! I believe the idea is to increase the local concentration of the peptide in the injured area. I don't know if it's been scientifically proven to be superior to injecting elsewhere, but some users find it beneficial.

I've been using Ipamorelin/CJC1295, and one time I think I accidentally hit a vein. My heart was pounding, and I had extreme flushing. It was pretty intense! Now I try to inject in a fattier area and go deeper.
