Injection Site Reactions - where?!

first 3 weeks I was sick as hell—nausea, vomiting, diarrhea everywhere. now at 1 mg and totally fine. the side effects do go away if you can tough it out. might help to drop the dose a bit at first though.
 
Upper outer glute works best for me with HGH and reta, using a 32 gauge half-inch needle. Abdomen hurts more and bruises show up easier. For test I pin the outer quad or glute too, but IM with a 28 gauge. Been doing this routine a while and basically zero site pain anymore. Needles smaller than that and it takes forever to push through.
 
Site reactions in the thigh that worsen with repeated use in the same spot resolve with a wider rotation - the tissue needs 4-6 weeks minimum between hits to the same area to fully recover.
 
Injection site reactions in the first few weeks are common and usually settle. Rotating sites is the main lever - abdomen, outer thigh, and back of arm each respond differently. Room temp vial and slow injection reduce immediate reactions. Most redness normalizes within 2-4 weeks.
 
Thigh reactions early on are common when tissue is new to subQ delivery - redness and mild swelling usually normalize after a few cycles. Rotating sites and a 30-second press post-injection helps. Belly and outer thigh tend to be the most forgiving.
 
Golf ball swelling at injection sites is significantly beyond normal injection site reaction range. That's worth discussing with a provider before the next dose rather than pushing through. Rotation between sites is part of it but swelling that severe suggests something else may be happening - allergy to an excipient, technique issue, or concentration mismatch.
 
Haven't personally run into what you're describing, though I do usually get a brief minute or so of stinging right at the injection site. Tried it once in the softer area near my waistline and ruled that spot out given the extra burning and tenderness! Hoping this isn't an allergic reaction on your end and just an unlucky spot your body didn't take well to!! Heard bumping the dose can trigger new reactions too, was this a fresh dose for you? Just a thought, really hoping you're feeling better now with nothing further going on!!
 
Mind walking me through what you experienced? Curious if you noticed skin reactions at the injection spot beforehand, or any warning signs that your body was starting to react differently to it.
