Ipam/Sermo vs. CJC/IPA... which to choose?

I just got a new book about peptides, and it says you should stack CJC 1295 with Ipamorelin instead of Sermorelin/Ipamorelin. What do you folks think? If you've tried either, what's your take? I'm on the CJC/IPA now, but someone told me the other one is better. I want to know before buying more sermorelin!

I've looked into the sermorelin and ipamorelin combo. I don't have labs post-use, but here's my take. I think I got some lean gains from better workouts. I also dropped a bit of weight but was also on Tirz and Reta. My sleep wasn't any better. The worst part was increased hunger, even 2 weeks later. I can't be 100% certain it was that, but it seems likely. Overall, I liked the results and would use it again.

I read that cjc/ipa is better for muscle building. I plan on trying cjc next time now.

I'm sure someone will say 'just get real HGH.'

I was wondering about the same thing, and I ended up blending all three, honestly. I'm getting good results with body recomposition and better sleep. My IGF-1 is 285, which is normal for a 20-something (I'm 58). My doctor is supportive and pleased with the results. I'm cycling 5 days on, 2 days off, as he suggested. I think it makes me hungrier too, so I have to focus on eating more protein.

True, unless you're younger and your own GH production is still high. For someone with peak production, 2-4 IU is only a replacement dosage.

4 IU of HGH gets me to optimal IGF-1 as a 40-year-old woman. Of course, if you want super high levels, you can go higher. That's why I asked what your goal is, @BigTale.

2 IU should get most people to IGF-1 levels like someone in their 20s. 4 IU is what a teenager has.

Some people respond better than others, but 3 IU or 4 IU will be supraphysiological for the majority of people here.

I'd check your estrogen levels first. Then, you could add HGH at 2-4 IU per day. HGH takes time to work. You usually need to use it for at least 6 months.

I'm not male, and I'm not on estrogen. I'm a 62-year-old female trying to maintain muscle while losing weight.

If you look at the research on all the GH secretagogues, the average increase was only 0.4 to 0.7 IU. Personally, I'm waiting a year to add HGH and saving my money for the real thing.

Even HGH at higher doses than you can reach with secretagogues won't do much to preserve muscle by itself. It works much better with anabolic steroids, but alone, it's not as effective.

Enough protein + some kind of muscle growth stimulus will prevent muscle loss and probably even build new muscle, even on a calorie deficit.

I've heard good things about PT-141. I've been using MT-II for some time now with positive results. I would suggest lower doses when starting out and be patient. Less is more has been my experience with many of these compounds.

PT-141 is a modified version of MT-II with significantly reduced tanning. If you are considering MT-II, tread lightly: many experience excessive tanning. Consider starting under 500 mcg to assess your own sides and reaction.
