It's official - I'm under 260!

I haven't been this weight since before 2020! I'm a little tired-looking, didn't get much sleep the past couple of nights, but I'm sharing a pic anyway. 🪴 (See my profile for the “before” pic)

The timing of everything is weird. Today, the day I'm finally under 260 again after all these years, is ALSO the day I'm driving to California for a month to work on a stage show (Hollywood Fringe Festival, baby!) that I haven't touched in half a decade. It must be fate!

I know it looks like I'm doing great, down nearly 70 pounds since the beginning of December, but I honestly thought I'd be losing MORE by now. Even so, I'm thrilled with where I am and ready to throw myself into a creative endeavor at this point in my journey.

This med has seriously changed my life and is helping me take back parts of myself I thought were gone forever. I hope my experience can encourage anyone who's considering starting these meds because I'm sure that reading posts like this were the reason I finally decided to try it.

Have a great Thursday, friends. We can do this! Ever onward!

Wow, I'm floored. For anyone curious about maintenance, I found a great success story on Reddit.

This person said they had an 80+lbs difference in their before/after pics and have been in maintenance with a stable weight for 4 months. They're 5'8", starting around 250lbs and now at 169. They also lift weights 3x/week. Amazing dedication!

I saw another success story that was super inspiring. This person started their journey in July 2023 at 260lbs and is currently at 135lbs!! They completely changed their eating habits and ramped up their workouts. It's a good reminder that these meds are a tool, but lifestyle changes are key!

about half the time when i get blood work done i almost pass out 😂 weird that it's not every time. fasted bloodwork hits different—sometimes i'm fine, sometimes not enough sleep or too much caffeine or whatever. need all the stars to align just right.
