It's tougher than it looks...

Just a heads-up for today:

When you glimpse yourself in older images and videos, and it hits you how much progress you've achieved, remember to treat yourself with compassion.

Overcoming cravings is a battle. I long for the comfort of certain foods. Sometimes, I crave indulging in a massive cheat meal, but this medication prevents it, which is both a blessing and a curse.

I'm still improving inside and out.

I'm succeeding.

You're succeeding.

The world needs us. Don't let your past dictate your future, and never forget how remarkable you are and how fiercely you've fought for the positive aspects of your life.

We all face challenges. I'm experiencing some now, but I'm confident I'll pull through.

And so will you. 💙

A few quick thoughts:

1. Thanks for the encouraging words.
2. Is that a truck you're sitting in, according to that first picture?
3. That HALF inch is crucial! I'm barely 4'11 and a HALF! 🥰

This resonates so profoundly, on both a personal and universal level. Beautifully expressed. Usually, I'd write a lengthy thank you, but you've captured everything perfectly. Thank you.

Perimenopause is truly awful!!! I can say that post-menopause is somewhat better – you gain some control and care a lot less about many things. Keep going!

That was amazing! The universe will reward such a positive person, even during tough times! And wow!! You look incredible!

I know I'm just a random person online, but just from your words, I can tell you're a wonderful person inside and out! Great progress, but you look awesome no matter your size!

I agree with what no-more-snacks said.

I've noticed that some patients have reported a change in their relationship with alcohol while taking these medications. Has anyone else experienced this?

My spouse mentioned that their cravings for alcohol diminished while on this medication, along with a reduction in food cravings. I wonder if there's potential for its application in treating alcoholism.

It's wild how sema affects more than just weight. I've noticed a significant change in my desire for sugary drinks. I used to need a soda every afternoon, but now I barely think about them.

That's so interesting! I'm about to start and was actually hoping the medication would help me cut back on energy drinks. Caffeine is such a problem for me!

I used to drink three cups of coffee every day. Now I only want one! It's like my body just doesn't need it anymore. I didn't even try to cut back, it just happened!
