Jiu-Jitsu recovery boosters?

I hurt my knee doing jiu jitsu (39 here). I began taking bpc 157... 500 mcg twice a day. Once when I woke up and once before bed. Did that for about a month.

In the first week, minor pains disappeared plus a lot of inflammation. Back to sparring by the end of the month.

I keep bpc 157 on hand now. I also got some tb500 but haven't needed it yet. They're supposed to work together to improve recovery. They refer to that as the wolverine thing.

Hopefully this helps.

I do heavy lifting at work and had a tight Achilles tendon. I was too heavy and constantly moving around made it hurt. Even 2 weeks off didn't help much. Bpc 157 and tb helped in a few weeks, but I think you should use it for a full cycle for longer lasting relief.

I also read about different b12 shots. Sounded interesting.

I first learned about the BPC and TB500 combo from dudes at the gym. Starting with one or the other is probably best. I've been using BPC-157 for knee problems from being a heavy athlete. It's working better than I thought it would.

Were you injecting the knee directly or can you inject BPC 157 into your stomach and it still work? Any sides from the bpc?

I don't do jiu-jitsu, but I have chronic injuries from being hypermobile! I've been taking bpc 157 for almost a week, and I'm amazed at how much it's helping me recover. I did some strenuous lifts last week and was also on call nurse for a friend, so lots of driving too (which hurts my glutes).

Oh okay. Do you inject it right into the problem area, or can you inject it into your stomach? Any side effects?

I didn't inject directly into my knee. Instead, I injected in the thigh above the injured knee and also in my stomach. Since it's systemic, the spot doesn't really matter. However, there are a couple of little studies that showed spot injections might be a little more effective. So, I split the difference lol.

Hearing stories like this pushed me to finally start using BPC yesterday. I've been holding onto some since April. I guess I was both lazy and skeptical.

Cissus quadrangularis is another option for tendons and ligaments. It's used for diabetes, regeneration, and other stuff.

I agree. Peptides from China aren't sterile enough to inject anywhere but under the skin. Injecting bacteria into a joint is extremely dangerous. Septic arthritis can destroy the joint and require surgery, drainage, and IV antibiotics. Most doctors won't inject joints even with sterile equipment. Injecting into or around tendons is higher risk than injecting under the skin. An abscess there isn't as bad as one in a tendon or joint, which could cause long-term damage.

Has anyone had luck with peptides for hip arthritis? The doc says I have mild to medium arthritis in my left hip, and I'm hoping to skip surgery!?

I've read about people trying BPC, DMSO, and TB500 for joint issues. Also, look into intra-articular growth hormone injections. I've also seen some mention boron helping some folks.

Yeah, I was reading about sermorelin. Doesn't sound worth the cost. People are saying you need to use it for like 6 months before you even maybe see results?

Question for early gym goers in the thread—what time you guys in bed? Hit the gym at 4:30am first time, no crowds, killer workout. Bed at 11pm night before wasn't optimal but trying to figure out the schedule. How do you do it?
