having sema on hand and knowing it worked before is actually the best position to be in when stalled on reta. the stack approach versus sema solo is a real question - adding the second mechanism tends to push things past a plateau better than switching. what dose of sema are you thinking and how long have you been stalled on reta?
 
Might be worth looking into tirzepatide as an alternative? I made that switch myself after stalling out on wegovy for a couple years, that was the only option my insurance would pay for, and started dropping weight again even on smaller tirzepatide doses.
 
Saw the news that regulators signed off on a stronger option for the branded semaglutide shot, genuinely not that shocking given the timing. Curious how that plays into the patent situation, my guess is it effectively resets the clock on these higher amounts. Makes me wonder whether tirzepatide's sitting similarly far under its real ceiling too. Haven't come across anything solid yet on the higher tirzepatide doses supposedly in trials. Some speculation floats around 20 or 25mg, though who knows, could end up being considerably higher than that. Guess it's time to consider bumping my own dose.
