Just sharing! 6-month GLP-1 progress

338 to 285 in 6 months is 53 lbs at a solid early-phase rate - the window past month 6 usually shows whether the pace is going to hold or normalize.

338 to 285 is the kind of progress line where each month builds on the last - by this point the compound effect is what the number reflects.

Hey everyone, I'm new here. Wanted to share my journey so far. Started at 338lbs and now I'm down to 285lbs in about 6 months! A total loss of 53lbs. So happy!

Congrats! That's amazing progress for 6 months. Your stats are like mine. I started around 344lbs and I'm currently at 306lbs after six months too. Good luck on your continued weight loss!

It's great to see such positive results! Remember that individual responses to GLP-1 medications can vary. Some common side effects include nausea and constipation, so it's important to discuss any concerns with your healthcare provider.

Reading this stuff makes me hopeful. I am just starting out. It's inspiring to see success stories like @A_R_C_Journey's!

I agree, @Lift_Ready. It really helps to see others having success. For me, the biggest change has been the ability to control my eating. I'm not constantly thinking about food anymore. Plus lots of walking!

Before my period hits a couple days out, I spike 5-6lbs. Clear pattern every month on my weight graph. Then once it starts the water drops fast. Used to frustrate me but tracking showed it's hormonal. Also hold water at start of luteal phase. Tracking cycles plus weight reveals trends - less alarming and predictable.

You don't owe anyone an explanation. Criticism comes naturally with visible results - just decide beforehand what feels right to say.

53 lbs in 6 months from that starting point gives people in similar situations something concrete and real to hold onto.

The resources piece is one of the most underrated parts of sharing a journey like this - other people in the right places at the right time can completely change the trajectory. Progress that specific and that visible is motivating in both directions.

Lost 11kg - that's fantastic! Started on 2.5 for a month then moved to 5. Feeling so much better, and those results are wild. Curious what everyone else is seeing on their journey.

338 to 285 in 6 months is 53 lbs at a very solid sustained pace - the early months often include some water weight but 6 months of consistent loss means the pattern is real. The 'new person' feeling is accurate at this point; the cumulative change in daily energy, sleep, and joint load becomes harder to miss than the scale number.
