KPV's anti-inflammatory mechanism runs through mast cell stabilization and NF-kB pathway modulation, which is relevant to that kind of hypersensitivity response. If the allodynia is inflammatory in origin rather than neurological, there's a plausible mechanism. Worth tracking timing and severity against the KPV dosing to see if it correlates.
