my insurance pushed me to 5 after 4 weeks even though i was happy at the lower dose. first shot made me tired enough to take work off, then smooth 3 months. food noise kicked in at 7, went up, no side effects that time. everyone's different. drink water like it's your job, hit your protein, count calories.

Had VSG in 2023, went 237 to 193 but bounced back to 215. Started Mounjaro in March 2025 and hit maintenance at 155 by January this year—that's about 30 percent down. Consider adding Metformin or another med if you're stuck. My last 10 pounds took forever. Still losing a pound a month on maintenance, trying to gain 5 back.
