Legs then vs now - see a diff?

there's definitely a difference in how your legs look between those two pictures, even if it's subtle. everyone's body loses weight in different spots - some people drop it from their arms, others from the legs or chest. could be harder to see depending on your frame. either way you're doing amazing.

Congrats! So what's your plan now with the meds? How much will you stay on? Some folks taper off once they hit their number, others keep going.

I'm seven weeks in, down 15 lbs. The 5mg jump hit harder than expected - nausea, low sugar readings, feeling cold all the time. Eggs are pretty much all I can stomach right now.

Happy for you but also a bit jealous. Seven weeks in, down 15 pounds. Did 2.5mg for a month then bumped to 5mg. First week was fine but then things got rough. Sugar dropped to 68, blood pressure tanked. Doc had me cut back to half a dose. Better now but the nausea is brutal. Freezing constantly too. Eggs are about all I can manage.

Haha. But seriously, it's all about staying consistent. For me that's 60-70 min of brisk walking or light running plus 60-75 min of strength work, five days a week. Then twice weekly I add another 60-70 min of walking and 20-30 min of high intensity intervals. When I stick to it, my resting heart rate drops noticeably. Even a few weeks off from injury and it climbs back up, then comes right back down once the routine restarts.

BMI from 41 to 25 is a complete transformation. The HDL drop while eating less saturated fat is counterintuitive but common during active loss - lipids often look worse in transit as fat mobilizes. Most see HDL recover after weight stabilizes.
