Little to no side effects?

It's important to remember that these meds aren't just for diabetics. They can help with other medical conditions too!

Right now 2 mg every 4-5 days works best for my situation. If that stops kicking in, I'll bump it higher. That said, your own reaction will be totally individual. Most folks do great on 1 mg alone. You've gotta figure out if it cuts appetite, leads to loss, or triggers nausea, loose stools, or constipation. Some notice sour burps, acid reflux, skin stuff, or sleep trouble. A lot of that comes from ramping the dose too quick. If you hit side effects, stay put and let them ease off. No loss yet? Then maybe go higher.

Dropped from 7.5 to 6 last week and it smoothed out but still had side stuff, so I went down to 5 a few days ago. Way gentler now. Lost a kg last round so sticking with 5 for now.

It really is wild how different people can react. Some folks get hit hard with side effects and others barely notice anything. Glad you ended up in the easier camp.

Terrified to tell my best friends since we'd all been against glp-1s, but wanted to be honest. Told them right before starting, explained my reasons, and they were accepting and kind about it.

On it for 18 months and I know the side effects. But that coffee ice cream called to me last night. Had some, then a tiny bit extra because I'd earned it. Now my gut is growling and the bathroom is my best friend. Worth every second though!

Mostly smooth sailing here too. Appetite suppression doing its job, nothing dramatic on the side effects front. The runners in this community seem to tolerate these medications pretty well.

The 2-year wait regret is common - most people came from years of trying everything else and assuming this would be similar. 98 lbs in 17 months with no side effects is about as clean a run as this goes.

Stomach is the most forgiving injection site for most people. No side effects at week 6 is a good sign the dose and placement combination are working.
