Look how far I've come!

Welcome to the GLP-1 forum! Just a friendly reminder about the rules: let's keep the discussion focused on approved medications and avoid any buying/selling talk, especially in private messages. Check out the if you're just starting out.

Wow, jaw-dropping transformation! If I didn't know the full story, I'd guess a minor procedure. You put in so much effort to get these results!!!

This is such an amazing change! I'm so impressed. What exactly did you do? I'm on 1mg of a GLP-1 right now and wondering how others are managing diet and exercise. Calorie deficit? Fasting? Lots of workouts? Thanks!

Your achievement is incredible. The mental side must be intense too. People don't talk about that enough. The after photo shows how petite you are, and it really highlights how tough it was for you before. Congrats on surviving and thriving. You're beautiful.

I'm blown away by how amazing you look and how much effort you invested. It takes courage to go through skin removal and deal with the recovery. The GLP-1 helped, but you're a true inspiration! Does your new reflection still surprise you?

You look fantastic! Sorry to ask, but did your insurance cover the skin removal or did you pay out of pocket? Was it very expensive? I'll likely need it down the road.

So you had weight loss surgery and you're using GLP-1s? Would you be willing to share how much weight you lost with each? I'm curious since I've not seen many people do both, but I'm sure we're out there. I had RNY gastric bypass close to 3 decades ago and lost maybe 120 pounds. Now I started a GLP-1 just over a year ago and I've lost another 40 or so. You look great! Congrats!

I lost the first 100 pounds from the bypass, and the last 60 after starting a GLP-1. They really work well together!

I've found that focusing on protein is key. Eating more protein than anything else has made a huge difference for me in losing weight while on this medication.

I agree with Izzy_35. Protein is so important when trying to lose weight! If you don't get enough, your body starts breaking down muscle. And exercise is important too. Even just incorporating more activity into your day can help.
