Wow, just stumbled on an old photo. It's wild to see how far I've come on my health journey. Makes you really appreciate the progress!

I totally get it. I've seen old photos and thought, 'How did I let myself get like that?' But then I remember how far I've come, and how much further I want to go. It's a process, no doubt. You're crushing it. Seriously. Keep going and be kind to yourself. ❤️

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I think the brown top outfit is my favorite too, its got a bit of a Jedi librarian thing going on, right? And yes, I love my furry friends!

Totally awesome transformation, you look fantastic. I'm in a similar situation; the person I remember isn't who I see in old photos. I'm so glad to be where I am now and excited for what's ahead. Keep up the great maintenance!

You're 60?! I'd sign up for 60 right now if I could look like you. Seriously, you look at least ten years younger in your current pics. 👏

I said 'what the heck!' and went back to my old hippie days when I was thinner. I'm buying wild prints, flowy pants, jumpers, jumpsuits, maxi skirts! All the models are 20-somethings and super skinny, but I make it work. I'm 78 and figured this is my last chance to wear cool clothes like I did 50 years ago, ha ha ha ha

Old pictures aren't meant to make you sad. They remind you of what you've accomplished. What an amazing transformation 🥰🤗 Congratulations on your weight loss 🎉🏆

Besides the meds, what else did you do – diet, exercise – to get these results? And how long did it take? Any tips? I have a ways to go, and your photos are giving me inspiration.

Great question SlimDown_Sloane! I'm also curious to hear more about the journey and any specific tips.

Okay, so it's been a journey! Primarily I focused on portion sizes using smaller plates and bowls. I also swapped out sugary drinks for water and diet soda. Regular walks (30-45 mins) most days of the week. It took about 18 months to get to where I am now, but it was worth it.

That's amazing progress ShrinkFixed! I've seen some patients who are worried about loose skin after significant weight loss. Did you experience that at all, and if so, what did you do?
