Alright, spill the tea! ☕

Anyone else starting to think about the aftermath? You know, the... skin situation? 😂 We've put in the blood, sweat, and maybe a few tears, and now we're rocking some extra baggage in the skin department.

I've been rolling with tirzepatide for what feels like ages, and it's been a wild ride. Highs, lows, stalls, victories, and enough protein shakes to open my own smoothie bar! 🤪

Seriously though, if you're dealing with this, or just anywhere on this crazy weight-loss journey, let's connect! Share your stories, wins, struggles, favorite protein sources, what's working, and what's a total flop.

Because let's be real, this isn't just about shedding pounds – it's a whole new chapter. 💪❤️

So drop a comment, hit me up, whatever! I'm here for the support and swapping stories.

I'm so excited to get to where you are! I'm currently down 120lbs. Calculators say I need to drop another 90lbs. Almost there!

Seeing posts like this keeps me going!

You look fantastic!

Amazing change, you look wonderful. I'm only two weeks in on semaglutide. I need to get rid of 170lbs and I'm just lost on what to eat and how much water to drink etc. It's super overwhelming and people keep saying I'm already eating at a deficit?

That is a huge transformation!
You look like a completely different person. 🤩

The skin problem worries me too.
Is there any point in trying oils or creams like during pregnancy? (Didn't work then but maybe it will help a little now). What about special exercises?

I am losing about 1 kg/week. Is that a healthy amount or too fast?

I'm only in my first month and struggling with what to eat.
I'm staying away from fried foods but still having trouble with meals.
It's winter so I can't eat a lot of salad and cucumbers, which are my favorites.

Can you all please share what you eat during the day?

Thanks!

You look fantastic! I could use some inspiration. I've been stuck for the past month. Can you share your journey? What was your starting weight and how long has it taken? Any advice for someone who's on this journey? I'm at 75lbs lost after 12 months. I still have 40lbs to reach my goal and struggling to stay motivated :(

I've been on it for about 4 months and haven't lost a single pound. Beginning to think it might not do anything for me.

Congrats! 🎊🍾🎈 So happy for you!! I’m 4 months in. Losing is slower for me too but I’m never turning back-just gonna keep pushing no matter how long it takes. The Protein Shakes are too real 🤣

You look amazing, you must feel amazing too! I just did my first 5mg dose this morning after a month at 2.5mg. I can definitely feel the hunger suppression, and luckily I'm not getting too many bad side effects. Just some headaches, mostly on shot day and the day after, but they are manageable. The scale hasnt moved much, but my fasting blood sugar is getting much better, so I know it's working. I'm just working on being patient and trusting my body. Seriously though, congrats to you 🙌🏻

Congrats! What an accomplishment!!

I’m 68 with type 2 diabetes and other health problems.

10 mg was my sweet spot. Once I got there I dropped over 30% of my weight in about 9 months.
Now I’m on 5 mg to maintain my weight.

I now have a normal BMI. First time since my 80s.

I didn’t have as much to lose as you did. I’m 5’0” so you can imagine how overweight 50+ lbs looks on a shorty.

I had a panniculectomy to remove belly fat. I had medical problems that were caused by my belly hanging, so insurance covered it.

If you are able to exercise, do it as you're losing. It will help with loose skin in the end.

Again, congratulations. You look great.

I've lost about 95 lbs this year. I'm hoping to lose another 10-15 before the new year, and maybe 30-35 more overall. That would put me close to a 24 BMI. My belly is a huge roll of dough. I can grab handfuls of it. If I can drop another 30 pounds, I imagine my belly will be wrinkly and thin, like a deflated balloon. My inner thighs look similar. I will probably buy some shapewear when I get to my goal weight, then, if I can stay stable for a year, I'll consider skin removal.

I saw a post on Reddit where someone said, "Ozempic gave me my face back." Has anyone else experienced a big change in their face from losing weight?

I was reading about some peptides that might help with skin elasticity while losing. Things like TB500 that people are talking about. Has anyone tried those?

Ooh, interesting! I hadn't heard of TB500 for that. I've been wondering about other peptides too, but mostly for building some muscle back while losing. Maybe they could help with the skin thing too?

From a medical perspective, maintaining a healthy rate of weight loss, like Shannon_14 mentioned with 1kg/week, is crucial. Rapid weight loss can definitely exacerbate skin issues. Also, adequate hydration and a diet rich in protein and essential fatty acids are vital for skin health.
