This might seem like a weird thing to celebrate, because most folks trying to slim down are terrified of excess skin, but I'm seeing it on myself for the first time, and honestly? It feels like an accomplishment. Started my journey around Valentine's Day, and I'm down about 28 pounds. It's a whopping 50+ from my heaviest weight ever, which was years ago!

I'm 71 and recently lost over 100 pounds using Oz. I have a lot of loose skin too. The older you get, the less elastic your skin tends to be.

Keep shedding pounds, but take your time. A gradual reduction tends to result in fewer wrinkles. I've lost about 60 pounds over the course of a year and a half. I wasn’t aiming for rapid weight loss. I have some wrinkles on my arms, but not many.

I'm really proud of my loose skin at the moment 😅 Started at 244lbs, now at 149lbs! I've got loose skin on my thighs, some on my tummy (still carrying some fat there too), and on my arms. I'll probably want to address my thighs eventually, but right now I'm just happy lol.

Love the tattoo! I'm also taking Ozempic; I've lost roughly 15 lbs over the last month, and my skin is also starting to show some looseness, yes for all of us😊

Adding collagen peptides to your diet really makes a difference. It takes a few weeks to notice, but it's helped my skin quite a bit.
That's good to know. I've been taking a multivitamin, but I'm still experiencing some hair shedding and even some foot discomfort. I wonder if these are related to the GLP-1 meds or maybe something else I'm taking.

I would get some bloodwork done to check your ferritin, B12, and vitamin D levels. All of those being low can cause hair loss. Also, maybe talk to your doctor about the foot pain. Good luck!

I've noticed some acne popping up since starting my GLP-1 medication. Anyone else dealing with that?
It's because losing weight releases hormones that were stored in your fat cells. It should even out eventually.
