Losing slow & steady... I'm good with it!

Your liver is working overtime when you drop that much fat that quick, all those toxins come with it. Same with the kidneys. We should all think about how to help these organs while they're working so hard.

you need to bring your calories down. as you lose weight your body burns less. intake eventually stops working because your expenditure drops to match it. to keep losing you have to lower intake alongside expenditure. what's your TDEE and deficit? that's what you need to figure out.

Exactly this. Progress that takes time is the kind that sticks around. My experience through AltRx has been rock solid on that front - nothing rushed, nothing crazy, just steady movement. That's what actually holds up.

Started on the tiny dose roughly 8 weeks ago, lost 6.5 kilos, staying steady at 3.75 mg per my doctor. First time bending to lace up shoes without gasping for breath - such a small thing but it feels incredible.

8 weeks on MJ with 6.5kg and going slow is the sustainable pace that the faster-losing posts don't often represent - the medication working at a measured rate is a real response, not a slow response. The 25 more pounds from 202 to 177 is a good arc at any rate, and slow tends to hold better in the maintenance phase than aggressive losses.
