Wow, what a trip it's been. I've spent 746 days watching calories and walking for at least a half hour daily. I'm still struggling with my self-image; the body image issues have been the toughest part lately. But viewing my progress in this way is really helpful. I'm also really thankful for this community. I mostly just read, but the guidance, struggles, and constant support from everyone has helped me get through a LOT of tough days when I was ready to quit. You've all helped me feel less alone in my struggles and wins, since hardly anyone I know IRL knows. I can't thank you all enough.

I still want to drop around 20 pounds, but I'm about to hit the big 3-0 and I'm going to enter this new decade feeling super proud of what I've done.

Yes!! Congrats!!! You're inspiring me to keep going. I lost about 55 pounds in my first year and want to get rid of another 45. Appreciate you, OP. Well done.

I lost more than 115lbs after lapband surgery a while back. I went from 265 to 114 eventually. That body image stuff always finds something to pick at. But later, if you gain weight back like I did when my band slipped and got removed, you'll look back at those pics and wonder how you could've ever complained and wished you'd enjoyed it more. I'm at 210 currently and just had my first injection the other day. I just wanna get back to 150.

For anyone who's seeing changes in their face, that's a great NSV (non-scale victory)! It's a good sign that you're losing visceral fat too. Keep up the great work!

It's so common after significant weight loss. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can be really helpful for addressing body image distortions if it's significantly impacting your quality of life.

I started sema injections in May. My starting weight was almost 380. I'm under 300lbs for first time in years!
Wow, that's amazing progress in just a few months! Congrats!

The inflammation drop was mind-blowing for me too. Finger swelling stopped almost overnight. Back pain got way better. Steps and runs got easier without the puffiness holding me back.

Can't say much about joint stuff, but my spouse has autoimmune thyroid issues and dropped over a hundred pounds on Tirz. Tried for years to get the weight off without luck.
