Lost a LOT on Wegovy - Wanna Know How?

Most of the barrier isn't the actual doctor but the cost side. Having good insurance helps a ton. A lot of people aren't comfortable asking their provider to order extra labs or don't even know they can.

Dropping 100 pounds takes real dedication and time. Don't let yourself think less of what you've achieved just because your mind plays tricks. You clearly feel stronger and more content now.

I'm really curious how much weight you lost and more importantly how you kept it off after stopping. That's the part I'm most worried about.

Good point about sharps containers. Recapping at home mostly handles the issue, but if trash gets sorted later, having a proper container makes sense for whoever handles it.

always been a water guzzler but ozempic made it hard to swallow that much. then i read about 3 sips at a time every 20-30 min & now i drink way more without the full feeling.

Mounjaro has a savings card if you're in the US. If doc will do 15mg pens, they last two months. I was on Wegovy 2.4 for a year—nothing. Switched to three-hormone, lost 40lbs since November at 5mg.

My dad tried this med and couldn't make it past 2 weeks. Nausea and fatigue wrecked him. I'm on it for weight loss, mom takes it for blood sugar, so I see it from angles. Wondering if his experience is common. For people who almost quit early — what was worst? For those who did — what would've helped push through?

A hundred pounds on Wegovy is an absolutely huge achievement. What dose did you land on for the final stretch? And how did your eating habits evolve over the two years?

100 pounds since May 2023 is the kind of discipline most people talk about rather than show. The eating question is exactly right - at that level it is usually about what was removed as much as what was added. Food environment over dietary rules is what holds long-term.
