Lost a whole kid!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Heavy exercise last week weighed Monday. 1400-1800 calories daily, 1500 deficit probably. Lots protein. Weighed lost four whole target. Starving first week probably muscle loss. Restriction works. Cut hard wish.

Getting the A1C to 4.9 while dropping the blood sugar medication is the actual win here - the 82 lbs is what photographed well but the metabolic markers are what the doctor's visit was really tracking.

Got prescribed this last September after years of my blood sugar marker creeping upward, a warning sign for diabetes down the road. That got my full attention. Three months in my reading had fallen into completely normal range, and my regular doctor was thrilled. Yes, weight loss happened too, and continues, currently sitting at 235 down from where I began, blood pressure's also improved to a healthy reading in the low 100s over 60.

Since weight loss isn't actually why I'm on it, that's just a welcome bonus alongside treating early-stage diabetes risk, my insurance covers most of the cost. Definitely bring this up with your primary doctor or nurse practitioner.

Sounds like you've got a solid handle on things and are set up to make the most of your treatment.

I'm around your age too, and while my blood sugar marker looks decent right now, it's trending the wrong direction, I keep gaining a bit each year, and diabetes runs heavily through my family. Genuinely relieved to have a shot at avoiding it entirely, and hoping the same for you. Feels like our generation might mostly dodge what our parents and grandparents went through with this disease.
