Lost weight + got pregnant?!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my experience. I started on Mounjaro back in '22 when I was around 400 pounds. I managed to lose 190 pounds, and then, surprise! Found out I was expecting in January of '24. Had to stop the meds, and gained about 120 pounds during the pregnancy, giving birth at 330. Started back up about 2 months after delivery. Now, 14 months postpartum, I'm down to 215. Almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight, just a pound or two away!

Congrats! You look fantastic.

Could you share more about how you initiated the medication? I'm about 3 weeks in, and not really feeling much different. I've dropped maybe 6 pounds, but I think it's probably just water weight. Also, the headaches are intense!

Three years and almost 200 pounds gone is seriously impressive, and adding a baby into the mix? Amazing. You can definitely feel the pride in your words. Would you mind if I shared this over on the community? It's a sub for GLP-1 progress pics, and longer-term stories like yours really give hope to people just starting out. Or you could post it there yourself!

Tend to get round cheeks, it's how I look. Lost weight and inflammation helps. On ghk-cu now. Lost 16kg from 87 to 71, face much better but want to shift another 8-10kg. Red flush can be harmless annoying rosacea, I hate mine, but could be serious like lupus so check it out.

Okay, super personal question, feel free to ignore, but did you have any surgery for extra skin? Also (even more personal) did your boobs shrink on their own? Mine are huge and I'm hoping they'll go down with the weight loss, but they're not cooperating so far.

I saw a nurse saying it's becoming more common for women on GLP-1 meds to get pregnant, but it's just something they noticed, no studies yet. So interesting!

Hey! I started at the lowest dose and titrated up slowly as directed. It took me a few weeks to notice a real difference in my appetite, so stick with it! As for the headaches, make sure you're drinking plenty of water. Electrolytes helped me too!
