Low mood on Mounjaro - why does nobody want to call it a side effect?

I've spent a few months now on Mounjaro and the pounds are dropping exactly like I hoped, but my mood has completely tanked and nobody wants to treat it like it's connected to the medication. I feel flat most days, kind of hopeless about stuff that used to matter to me, crying more than I've cried in a long while, some days I genuinely don't want to get out of bed. The logical part of my brain knows I'm maybe six or seven weeks from reaching a solid weight, and I want that so badly, but this is a lot harder emotionally than anyone warned me it would be. I keep seeing people online get told there's no established link between GLP-1 medications and low mood, meanwhile half the threads on every forum are full of people describing this exact flat feeling. It can't just be a coincidence that this many people describe the same thing. Not really looking for cheerleading right now, just wondering if anyone found something that actually helped the mood side without giving up the progress.

Don't think mounjaro's actually behind the mood thing honestly. Running it for years now myself and never dealt with anything like that, worth noting it's for diabetes in my case specifically. Definitely worth checking with your doctor in case something else is driving it. Wishing you the best.
