Math check for Reta dose?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I keep my labeling simple, just the compound, how much bac I used, and the mg-per-unit conversion. Only thing left to figure is however many units or mg I'm currently dosing. Reta at 60, mixed with 3ml bac, works out to 1mg per 5 units.

A bunch of us run these, and I've got a batch of R100 on order too. See my mixing breakdown below. Worth noting, both my spouse and I are on Reta together. Usually we go with a pair of R50 or R60 vials, occasionally dropping to R30, though that smaller size only stretches to three doses each.
R140 reconstitution breakdown.

I draw 6ml BAC total into a 10ml vial. Split it, 3ml goes straight into the 10, and 3ml goes into the 140mg vial. Then filter that back into the 10ml vial that already holds the other 3ml BAC. Ends up as 14 doses at 43 units each. Two of us pulling from that single combined vial. Stretches roughly seven weeks.

Still missing the actual dose amount here... mixing a 10mg reta vial down with just 1ml of diluent would give you a 10mg/ml concentration, so a 0.1ml pull from that solution works out to 1mg of reta...

For my R20, I'm currently drawing 0.6ml of BAC, moving it into a separate pen-ready vial. That way each dose stays capped at 0.3ml, landing at 10mg. Not a fan of injecting excess BA. Reta stays fully dissolved right up to 80mg/ml, so there's decent headroom left over.

My reta vials (1mg each) get 1ml of BAC. A 4mg dose is 4ml, 40 units. Reta isnt known to be a spicy or stingy injection, so maybe go a bit lower on your next recon.

One option: reconstitute the whole amount, then split it across sterile vials. Suppose you wanted 60mg in 6ml. Put 2ml into the vial and recon, transfer that 2ml to a big vial such as a 10ml, top up with 4ml and mix well. From that, pull 2ml portions into fresh vials, which leaves a concentration of 10mg per ml, so each vial holds 20mg in 2ml. The benefit is opening a vial only when needed rather than poking one vial 10-15 times. Smaller total amounts keep things simpler until your usage grows. Reta does degrade at that point, and at those doses smaller mass vials would likely serve you better.

All I can offer now: give each dose a month before stepping up, in 2mg jumps. I started at 2mg and moved through 2, 4, 6, 8, then 9 and 10mg. The 1mg increases were useless for me, I tried twice, except 8-9mg. That's just how I did it. Which vial size did you buy?

Yes it is diluted, but you inject 5 units rather than 2.5, so you end up with the same amount. That volume of water is used because there is no 2.5 line on the syringe, but there is a 5 line. Make sense? Reta is said to last about 6-8 weeks. Use proper BAC water, reconstitute under the cleanest conditions you can, do not shake it, keep it away from temperature swings (the fridge door has lots) and light, and it should reach about 8 weeks. Once expired it only weakens, so you stop feeling effects. If it turns cloudy or changes color, that is BAD, but only a compromised vial would do that. Toss it if it stops working. In your example, with 0.5mg at the start, you might waste some if you never go higher, yet that waste happens anyway when there are no effects.
